Nestled in the heart of Great Village, Lowland Gardens makes a picturesque destination for any avid gardener. The owners and operators, husband and wife team- Tony & Gerrie van den Hoek have developed a bustling garden centre, which caters to a wide variety of gardening needs.
Lowland Gardens opened it's doors in 1985, with 1200 sq. feet of greenhouse space. More than 30 years later, the business consists of 13 greenhouses with over 30,000 sq. feet of growing space, offering an extensive line of annual and perennial plant material.
In 2016, their son Michael and his wife Kaylee moved back to Great Village to get involved full-time in the family business,
Tony and Gerrie credit their success to three fundamentals which they emphasize in their business practices:
Offering a wide variety of quality, unique products,
ensuring friendly, distinctive service,
providing an intriguing and engaging atmosphere
